I'm going to see Green Lantern tomorrow, and I've been looking forward to this movie for quite a while.  I've even been planning to review on my movie blog, movie0girl.

Problem: Now I'm freaking terrified.

So I found just found this interview with Ryan Reynolds on Moviefone.  He's so damn cute.  It talks mostly about The Green Lantern, but there was this nice little tidbit about that other superhero movie:

1. Stan "The Man" Musial got the call from the White House about getting the Congressional Medal of Freedom.  Why does he deserve it?  Because he genuinely believed that he, as a baseball superstar, was a role model.  I wish more sport stars thought that way.

Today was quite nice, in a lazy Friday sort of way.  (I never have classes on Friday---it's a weird state university thing.)

My mom is recovering really well---she can use her cane instead of her walker now!  She'll still housebound for two weeks, though.  Still, she doesn't limp anymore!

Thanks to my Geology class, I know about volcanoes.  Like how cinder cone volcanoes are tiny but super-steep, and how shield volcanoes (like Mauna Loa and Olympus Mons) are gently sloping but enormous.  And Olympus Mons (on Mars) is about the size of Arizona, which is pretty cool.

The editing is awesome, the music is great, the title card is remarkably fitting, and I'd nearly forgotten how pretty Ryan Reynolds is (though Deadpool will probably be deformed in the real movie).  Fake trailers should not be this entertaining.

I mean, damn.  I recognized many of the clips, but this fake trailer for a possible Green Lantern movie starring Nathan Fillion is still really convincing.  Wow.

I'm sorry it's not more Halloween-related, but it is technically masquerading as something else.
